Tarot cards and their meanings.......

Each tarot card will have several meanings and a skilled tarot reader will be able to choose which particular meaning is relevant, taking into account the question that is asked of the cards.

The spread dictates the meaning

When reading tarot cards the reader lays the cards out in a particular pattern or spread after shuffling them. The spreads vary greatly according to the use and the reader's level of knowledge of the tarot card. The deck is then interpreted in accordance with the reader's preferences and intuitive vibrations at the time of the reading. 

Each card is interpreted in an exact sequence, before the next card is turned face up.
